40th Anniversary Celebration – August 24th 2013​

The Temple of Nyame (African Cultural and Religious Society) extends an invitation for you and your extended family to attend our 40th Anniversary Celebration, which is scheduled for Saturday, August 24, from 4 to 10 pm. The event will be held at the Thurgood Marshall Center, 1816 12th Street, NW, Washington, DC. Our guest speaker for the celebration is Dr. Maulana Karenga, Professor and Chair, Department of Africana Studies, California State University. He is also an author, lecturer, and the creator of Kwanzaa and the Nguzo Saba. The event promises to be one of spiritual upliftment and inspiration. It is a time of renewal, sharing and offerings.
